February Chalk Paint Workshops

These workshops focus on using chalk paint, découpage and other techniques to re-vamp both furniture and accessories. All materials are provided, just bring along a small piece of furniture or other item and dress for mess!

DIY - Furniture Transformations

We really love the endless possibilities of what can be created with chalk paint and a bit of DIY! These are some of last week's revamps, with a combination of delicate découpage and chalk paint these pieces have been transformed. We stock both Autentico Chalk Paint and Van Gogh Fossil Paint in a wide variety of colours.

There are some beautiful shades in both ranges of our paint and for this time of year we particularly like the autumnal colours found in Autentico's 'Italian' range. This is a soft and warm colour palette that will create a luxurious look, great for when the weather starts to get cooler!

Chalk Paint Workshop Re-vamps!

Some beautiful pieces painted at our Saturday workshops! We love the idea of découpaging knobs to give an old piece of furniture a new look. Contrasting and colourful knobs on a subtle piece of furniture will help it to stand out creating a unique piece! You could also regularly change up the look by adding new découpage over the first layer or by painting over it when you crave a new colour or pattern.

Mount Usher Gardens In Full Bloom!

We have always been so proud of our location here at the stunning Mount Usher Gardens shopping courtyard. But this is our favourite time of year to wander through the gardens. They are truely spectacular at the moment as they are in full bloom and fragrant with Wild Garlic, Azalea's and much more! With carpets of Bluebells, winding paths and little streams these gardens are a delight for the senses and perfect for a family day out. Why not treat the family to a day at Mount Usher, stroll through the gardens, browse in the shopping courtyard and eat in the café. There is also a wonderful new playground in the village to keep the little ones happy!
